Mon travail évolue autour d’intentions de démantèlement des mythes, de déconstruction des archétypes et de création d’espaces ouverts à de nouvelles formes d’incarnation. En allant à la racine des choses, étant soit une absence, une fascination ou un langage, je crée des paysages visuels pour abriter un sentiment et ainsi produire un son dans le monde. Les pratiques d’écoute, de visualisation et d’imagination sont renforcées car elles sont des chemins vers la matérialité et l’habitation.
À travers des œuvres en papier fait main, des installations et des performances, j’articule un langage autour de la notion de blessure, de mémoire et de paysage. J’investigue la tension entre la préservation et la reconstruction de structures en exprimant ce que contient notre mémoire implicite et la forme qu’elle prend une fois accueillie dans des espaces tangibles. Je m’engage dans une pratique matérielle et linguistique dans l’intention de déterrer un savoir, une connaissance. Je provoque ce qui est en dormance, les émotions non abouties, les connaissances apprises, oubliées et finalement transformées.
My work revolves around intentions of dismantling myths, deconstructing archetypes, and creating spaces open to new forms of embodiment. By going to the root of things - absence, fascination or language - I create visual landscapes to shelter a feeling and produce a sound into the world. The practices of listening, visualizing and imagining are reinforced as paths to materiality and habitation.
Through handmade paper works, installations and performances, I articulate a language around the notion of memory and landscape. I investigate the tension between preserving and reconstructing structures by expressing what our implicit memory holds and the form it takes once welcomed into tangible spaces. I engage in a material and linguistic practice in the intention of unearthing a knowledge. I provoke what is dormant, the half-expressed emotions, the knowledge learned, forgotten and finally transformed.
